bethnal green

We took the trip into London to visit the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green. It is a fantastic, interactive museum with lots to do with children. It was a real treck to be honest... we arrived there around 3pm after completing some of those really annoying jobs that need doing. (Harry's glasses repaired, trainers returned, football photos done... you know the ones - loading and unloading children, parking blah).

It was really heartwarming to see the boys lead Gus around the bits he would like - the sensory section in particular. And lots of time was spent in Mog's basket! There was a great exhibit on Judith Kerr - a bit of a favourite in this house.

Have a look at this interview with the lovely author and artist http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2010/jan/14/judith-kerr-tiger-tea. And here is the book to buy http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tiger-Came-Collins-picture-lions/dp/0006640613 .
